On June 28^th, 2017, Country Hyundai along with other local Hyundai Representatives presented a $50,000 Hyundai Impact Grant to Baystate Children’s Hospital. The grant will be used to expand the 15 year old Pediatric Unit and relocating the Sadowsky Center for Children!

On Saturday June 24th, 2017, Carla Cosenzi’s daughter, Talia, hosted a lemonade stand where all proceeds went to directly benefit brain cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Talia was able to raise a total of $356 and we couldn’t have been happier with all the support we received from this event.

Tommy Car Auto Group awarded two students each with a $1,000 scholarship to attend college this fall. The Scholarship received an overwhelming number of applicants this year, totaling over 100 applications by local students. Lily Rogers of Northampton High School will be attending Yale University. Allison Jenks of Hopkins Academy will be attending University of Connecticut. Both students demonstrated excellence in the classroom and in the community.

Country Nissan, Country Hyundai and Northampton Volkswagen were proud to support the Northampton Family Fourth Celebration at Look Park. The event offered carnival games and prizes and food! The stage was  full of great bands throughout the evening, culminating with the Florence Community Band.

On June 13th, 2017 Carla Cosenzi presented Jack Collins, Director of Northampton Veteran Affairs Medical Center, with a check for $1,360. All three of the TommyCar Auto stores were holding the same promotion throughout Memorial Day weekend. Carla Cosenzi of Country Hyundai hit the streets in downtown Northampton on June 2^nd, 2017 looking for a Country Hyundai sticker on the back of someone’s vehicle! Once she found a Country Hyundai sticker that lucky winner received $250! Congratulations to Sarah Laroche. Ms. Laroche was in shock when Carla and her children approached her with a check for $250! Stay tuned because Country Nissan or Northampton Volkswagen will continue the hunt for a sticker!   

Giving back to the community is second nature to Carla Cosenzi. For the sixth year in a row Country Hyundai partnered with Baystate Children’s Hospital to raise money. During the month of March, Country Hyundai donated $10 for every Elantra test drive and $100 for every Elantra purchased to Baystate Children’s Hospital.

On March 30^th, 2017 TommyCar Auto Group sponsored Margarita Madness hosted by the Amherst Chamber. About 500 people gathered at Hadley Farms Meeting House to try over 15 different Margaritas from local businesses and restaurants. Although, we did not win, our Country Carla Margarita was a huge hit!

On March 11, 2017 Country Nissan, Country Hyundai and Northampton Volkswagen were a proud supporter of the 8^th Annual Leprechaun Plunge. The Plunge is an annual event helping selected local charities. Plunge participants plunge into the frigid waters of the Connecticut River at Brunelle’s Marina. The event has grown each year and has raised over $128,000 for local charities in past years.
