Here at TommyCar Auto Group, we are proud to serve Hadley, Massachusetts, and the surrounding areas. Our commitment to the local community delves much deeper than just our excellent selection and premier automotive services – we are always looking to give back. We are particularly proud of the Tom Cosenzi Scholarship we've established and all the students we've been able to help along the way.
Giving back to the local community is part of our DNA! The Tom Cosenzi Scholarship was founded in memory of our owner, Thomas E. Cosenzi, honoring his passion and legacy for giving back to the community that has allowed our business to thrive and prosper.
Each year, three outstanding high school graduates with plans on attending a two-year or four-year college, university, or trade school are awarded $2,500 to support furthering their education. These students have demonstrated excellence inside and outside the classroom and exemplify what it means to be a contributing member of our community!
Graduating seniors from Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin County, MA, are eligible for this prestigious honor. Additionally, each student applying must include a one-page essay detailing why they are deserving of this scholarship and what their future plans hold.
In addition, students may include academic transcripts, resumes, club activities, portfolios, community involvement, and even letters of recommendation from respected individuals in the education field.
If you are interested in applying for the Tom Cosenzi Scholarship this year, your application is due by 11:59 p.m. on May 31st. You can apply here, where you will find a short survey where you can provide all the information needed to be considered.
